Brandon Strife standing inside a train

About Brandon Strife

The music is the voice.

Strife Life is the philosophy.

Brandon Strife makes music from inside the questions he has not answered yet.

I was raised in the Midwest and shaped by life on the West Coast. Living in both places taught me that struggle does not belong to one background, one place, or one kind of person. We can look composed while fighting something no one else can see. I know because I have lived that way too, and some days I still do.

I write about identity, ambition, doubt, love, and the pressure of becoming someone I can respect. The songs are where I confront what I cannot always explain.

Strife Life grew from the belief that none of us has to understand the whole path before we begin walking it.

I'm still searching. Walk with me.

The Mentality

What makes Brandon Strife.

Brandon Strife lives in the space between ambition and uncertainty. My mind rarely stops moving. I can see how far I want to go while still questioning whether I am becoming the person capable of getting there. That tension is not something I escape before I create. It is where the music begins.

I have always paid attention to what people do not say. The distance between how someone looks and what they carry. The difference between being noticed and being understood. That is why the songs keep returning to identity, doubt, love, purpose, and the cost of becoming. I am not trying to make struggle look beautiful. I am trying to be honest about what it changes.

Brandon Strife is not the version of me who defeated every question. He is the part of me willing to live inside them without standing still. Strife Life grew from that mentality. Not perfect. Not finished. Still moving. If somebody hears that and feels less alone in their own mind, then the music has done something real.

I would rather be understood by a few than admired for something false.
My mind questions everything, including the person I am becoming.
I do not wait for clarity before I move.
The music matters most when somebody recognizes themselves in it.

The Music

Some questions became songs.

Blurry, Say A Lot, and Ask Why came from different moments in my life. Each one holds a question I was still trying to understand when I recorded it.
